I work in the mental health field and this facility has real problems. Be wary before sending a loved one here.
Unfortunately I live near this facility and have had to go there, more times than I would like to admit. However; I look at it as getting back up again instead of failing. This facility has many problems that need a lot of attention. I have reported them twice. You are not a prisoner there, you are supposed to be a patient, treated with dignity and respect. They have a long way to go before that EVER happens, unfortunately.
Ridgeview is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I owe the staff and doctors there my life for helping me save it. I was there 28 days in July and is still today clean and have my family back. I can't thank them enough.
